Information is the path to Freedom.

I have included links to those institutions and ideas that have helped me find my way to Liberty; it was quite a long and windy trip.

Organizations

The Alaskan Independance Party

If you're ready to kiss Washington DC goodbye, restore the rule of natural law and common law, and let the voice of Alaskans determine the fate of our state, this may be the party for you.

The Alaskan Libertarian Party

Is where you’ll find the most mainstream Liberty-minded candidates for state and local races.  Perhaps the simplest and most effective way to let politicians know you care about Liberty is to get these guys high vote-counts.

The Cato Institute

Not for the anarco-capitalist in you, but this is an excellent institution for promoting limited government ideas.  They have a daily podcast, as well as one for their event forums.

Fully Informed Jury Association

Did you ever wonder why you’re entitled to a jury of your peers, and not a panel of lawyers?  Juries have rights that judges and prosecutors are trying to keep secret!

The Free State Project

Is taking a radical approach to restoring Liberty.  They are assembling an army of 20,000 liberty loving people from across the nation to move to NH.  So if all else fails, and you feel like Alaska is beyond freeing, go check out NH where the first 500 movers are already having a big impact.

Institute for Justice

Was perhaps best described as “A merry band of libertarian litigators.”  Working tirelessly to break down regulatory powers and restore our freedoms, they still have time to pack their site full of amazing articles and information for the Liberty-minded.

Reason Magazine

With a tag line like "Free Minds and Free Markets" you know this is one publication Libertarians can all enjoy.  They have also started a podcast and Reason.TV which produced the Drew Carry Project

We The People Radio Network

Hosts a complete line-up of radio programming online.  Spanning the Liberty spectrum from simple libertarian, to conspiracy anarchist, if it’s anti-big government, it’s here.

Podcasts

Podcasting is a way to send audio files over the internet.  You can usually listen online, or download from direct links, but if you have a podcast aggregator you can use the power of RSS to have new episodes delivered to your computer automatically.  It's like an Email box for your ears.  Find out which aggregator is right for you here or here.

Cato Daily Podcast RSS

A short blurb from the Cato Institute five day per week.

Cato Institute Event Podcast RSS

Cato events and symposiums are recorded and uploaded.  They come out less frequently, but are informative and worth catching.

Econ Talk RSS

The best economics show around.  Sometimes filled with jargon, but always with a view towards popularization of the best free market thinking.

Foundation for Economic Education RSS

FEE has numerous great lectures on a broad range of liberty topis.

Free Talk Live RSS

A nationally syndicated program which is available 6 nights a week over the air waves, or 24/7 on their podcast.  The hosts are all Free State Project members who’ve made the move to NH, and now tell the world about the value of Liberty, and how to achieve it.

Freedom Watch RSS

Judge Andrew Napolitano reviews the latest in liberty news each week.  Almost always starting the show with an interview with Ron Paul.

The Jimmy Doane Show RSS

If you’re too busy to spend your time listening to a bunch of podcasts, this is the one for you.  Jimmy and his crew put out a show whenever they feel like it, which is usually once or twice per month.  Jimmy's show tackles current issues from a Liberty perspective, but he never forgets to bring the funny.

The Liberators RSS

Two businessmen talk economics and politics.  Funny and satirical, always liberty focused.

The Libertarian Dime RSS

A weekly show about anything and everything, but always with a liberty bent.

Liberty Week RSS

The Competitive Enterprise Institute's weekly news review.

Lighting the Fires of Liberty

Archive of the off-air radio program hosted by the 2004 LP presidential candidate Michael Badnarik.  He has studied constitutional issues, and teaches a constitution class.

Mises Institute Media RSS

Lectures and audiobooks from the Mises institute.

Wheels Off Liberty RSS

Two self-styled 'idiots' talking liberty and news.
